Glass - initially my fascination, then a hobby, and finally a craft and artistic material. I am a molecular biologist by education, but for glass, and in particular for stained glass, I completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts.
My studio is a place where I love to be and work. Each new project is a challenge to my imagination and technical skills.
The reward for the work is a finished stained glass window, which can be lifted upwards and viewed against the light only after it is fully completed. The effect always exceeds what I expected when drawing a project, because glass and light have their own lives depending on the time of day and season.
My dream is that people not only see and admire stained glass in historic buildings, but also desire their presence in contemporary interiors. I would like the art of creating stained glass not to be lost and therefore I will gladly pass on my knowledge to others.
